Wow! And my heart knows exactly what it wants. And my head was interfering. I want my mother’s couch so when I sit on it, I will be transported to her space.

So Regina and I discussed redoing the bathroom at one time with proceeds from the sales of the Posey Ridge house. And budget wise separating the work budget from the $20K I allotted to myself for aesthetics to make the house mine. Perfect. I love my friend. She is amazing. And she has really taught me to listen to my heart. In fact, this talk make me realize the decoration is a function of the heart, of surrounding yourself with things you love that are an extension of yourself. All my life I thought decorating was a head process. No wonder it never did work for me. The “Aha!” moment removed some barricades that I had put up within myself and opened up pathways into a whole new world: Decorating from the Heart. And it feels wonderful, liberating and freeing. My heart space has opened up into my living space. Wow, look at me grow!
