Today I followed up with Dr. Ansanelli. Everything was healing well and I didn’t have more than a few drops of drainage from the surgical site. (I wanted to say wound, but then it would sound like I was in a fight. And I just can’t see this as a fight.) Dr. Ansanelli removed the drain. I didn’t feel a thing.

Healing was easy. Just as advertised, I didn’t need any pain medication, at all. The drain was taken out on the third day. I just had to keep my arm and shoulder still so that I would not pull on the stitches. I have a great cross body purse that worked well as an armrest. 

I also get to follow up with a friend of mine. Angela, a good friend from high school, lives on Long Island. Luckily she had time to meet us for dinner.
