Part of taking care of me is starting to get back to working out. My daughter’s boyfriend works out a lot and wants to be a trainer. He is supporting me and I am supporting him. He created a workout plan for me. We worked out for the first time 2 weeks ago and it went okay. I was careful not to push it, as my muscles have been fatigued. I have plenty of energy for the day, but I can’t exercise without feeling exhausted. And that has never been like me.
Today the workout was perfect. He picked out some exercises – 3 exercises performed in 3 sets, then some yoga and stretching for 3 rounds. It was perfect. I felt energized and never felt fatigued or had burning muscles. Hopefully we can do this twice a week.
I am so ready to get back into shape.
