A Visit to the Holistic Dentist

I walked on pins and needles all week. I had a hard time being patient and waiting to see the dentist. I wanted to know what he would find. I wanted to know how long it would take to clear this up so my body could get on with the process of healing this tumor. I felt anxious to begin! I’m anxious to see how my body responds!

I love to be analytical so here are the details of my visit …

  • Thanks to the Thermographic scan, I knew that I had a problem in my jaw due to the heat it produced. I assume that bacteria is creating this heat signature.
  • The dentist listened to my story and examined my teeth. He claimed my tooth was going grey. He said it was possible that it would have to be pulled in the future, but we would take one step at a time.
  • Then he did an x-ray. It took 4 tries to get the perfect shot. And you just don’t get better than this. Below is an enlarged print out of the x-ray taken. You can see where my finger is pointing to the indention in the root of my tooth. If you look closely, you can also see how there is deterioration to the bone to the right of and below my finger. The x-ray shows more grey (empty space) and less white (bone). It is referred to as a cavitation (or hole in the bone, usually where a tooth has been removed, and the bone has not healed/filled in properly).
  • This is the site of the extracted tooth from long ago. His assessment was that when I had all of my first bicuspid teeth pulled in middle school, some bacteria remained present in the lower right jaw. Braces pulled the second bicuspid, the tooth shown with root decay, into the space that the 1st bicuspid vacated.
  • The suggested treatment was to drill a hole in my jaw and clean out the toxic material.
  • The dentist applied paste to my gums so that I wouldn’t feel the deadening shots. I still felt the shot, but it was a slight pinch. He placed shots in my gum tissue to deaden the area. After a few minutes, he commenced drilling. It was an odd experience. I didn’t feel anything, but I was tense and sort of putting up with the procedure while looking forward to the moment when it was complete.
  • Below you can see the hole in my gum that was drilled. He said the stuff he scraped out was white and pulpy.
  • There is the possibility that he didn’t get all of the material and will have to repeat the procedure. And as stated before, there is a possibility I will lose the tooth.
  • The dental technician stitched my gum closed and put some gummy substance on it to keep food particles from entering.
  • I’m using essential oils (frankincense, myrrh, and a blend) to kill bacteria and promote healing.

I have inserted two links that offer interesting reading. And yes, this is a controversial topic. There are many articles (including one on Snopes) that say this is untrue. However, the fact remains that I have always been healthy, I have a cavitation, and I have breast cancer. In my opinion, there are many “causes” of cancer. And in most cases it probably takes more than one condition to be present to allow cells to divide abnormally. (Remember, abnormal cell division does happen and the body knows this. That’s why the body has a process to stop it. When the immune system is stressed, it can’t stop abnormal cell division and the abnormal cells continue to divide and stick together. And a tumor is born. There are many different types of stressors that exist in our environment.)  I have had years of stress and two years where sleep was hard to come by. Is it possible that the bacteria that had been in my jaw, presumably since middle school, caused a toxic overload on my immune system and, coupled with lack of sleep (when the body heals and renews), that the immune system couldn’t handle the abnormal cell division? Absolutely, it is possible. Will we ever know for certain? No, we won’t.

To see the load that this “bacteria” in my jaw was causing on my lymphatic system, as shown on the thermogram, was just jaw dropping. (Pun intended.)

I believe that I must do what I can to relieve my body of this burden.

Hopefully we got to the “root” of the problem! I can’t wait to see what happens next!
