Just a Relaxing Day

Nothing exciting … really enjoyed the quiet day.

Woke up at 5 … because it is what I do, but I was able to doze until 7 a.m. That is not my normal, but I am working on it.

This recipe book has some amazing juice recipes in it. However, she uses a lot of fruit and not so many veggies and sugar is not on my list. There are differing views about consuming fruit while cancer is active among natural healers. Eating the whole fruit with fiber slows the absorption of the sugar; juicing concentrates the sugar.  I tried to choose the juices with the most veggies and the least number of fruits. There are many recipes in this book that I did not try due to the sugar content.

I laid in the sun and relaxed. I tried to read, but just wanted to be and rest my brain.

I drank Pau d’arco tea, Asparagus Juice (not too good), Fully Raw’s Glow Stick Juice (carrot/apple/ginger/orange) – absolutely delicious, Fully Raw’s Invincible Hulk (apple/ginger /romaine lettuce/kale/spinach/lemon/cucumber/celery/parsley), Wheatgrass, Koldprezz’s Hulk (apple/celery/cucumber/kale/lemon/lime/parsley), a smoothie for dinner and more Pau d’arco tea before bed.

I also read a novel and watched some videos about natural cancer treatment.

All in all, a day that felt like a vacation (except cleaning up from juicing … there has got to be an easier way LOL).
